Putative bacterial (mostly pseudomonadota) isoaspartyl peptidases
Clan 5: Family 13, Family 14, Family 15, Family 16, Family 17, Family 18
Clan 5 also holds families of isoaspartyl peptidases.
Family 15–18 consist of bacterial enzymes, many of which have signal sequences. Some sequences in Family 18 consist of both the isoaspartyl peptidase domain and a Type 1 glutamine amidotransferase (GATase1)-like domain found in cyanophycinase. Family 18 sequences are mostly from pseudomonadota.
